LOKA was launched from a studio in Venice, California, in the Spring of 2007. Co-founders Paloma Posford (from Spain) and Dahiana Cedeno (from Ecuador) bring a new edge to the celebrity rock star look with their sexy line of socially responsible clothes and handbags.

LOKA is environmentally conscious, uses no animal materials, and is absolutely sweatshop free. They want to prove that there is no need to sacrifice any living beings or our environment in order to look good. The word "Loka" is derived from an ancient Sanskrit word meaning "World" and "Freedom". Loka believes that the world and all its creatures have the right to freedom and donates a part of its profits to selected charities with the same vision.

LOKA is now selling at select boutiques in the US as well as Japan, Mexico, Hawaii and the Bahamas.
